Heritage Conservation Network
Heritage Conservation Network is a non-profit organization promoting the conservation of historic architecture and sites. Hands-on preservation workshops are held at sites around the world selected to offer a variety of locations and building types. Workshop participants have the opportunity to work with and learn from experts in the field of heritage conservation, as well as join an international network of people working to conserve historic structures and sites.

HERIMED actively foster links with national academic Institutions, Universities, Foundations and Think Tanks which operate in the cultural heritage field.
The Observatory for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage in Area of Crisis OPBC The "Observatory for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage in Area of Crisis" (OPB) was created in 1995 from professor Fabio Maniscalco. He is one of the greater experts in the world on safeguard of the cultural heritage in the areas of war risk. The OPBC is locally based at the University "L’Orientale" of Naples (Faculty of Arabic-Islamic Studies and the Mediterranean). In 2005 the Observatory set up new offices locally based in Palestine (near to the Institute of Archaeology of the Al-Quds University of Jerusalem) and in Albania (near to the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Albania). Prof. Maniscalco attended at the international seminar about risks prevention held on December 2006 in Palermo. The seminar was organized by UNIMED in cooperation with Herimed. Regional Management and Support Unit
A Regional Management and Support Unit has been set up for Euromed Heritage, to assist partners and beneficiary countries in achieving project objectives. The Central Institute for Cataloguing and Documentation is the body within the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities (MiBAC) which defines the standards and tools for the Cataloguing and Documentation of national archaeological, architectural, art history and ethno-anthropological heritage in agreement with the Regions.
